Say Cheese!! Front Porch Kit Reveal Day

Hello and Welcome to the
Front Porch Kit Reveal.

Here is what you have all been waiting for...
"SAY CHEESE"

This kit is colorful, and full of great embellishments
for making journal books, scrapbook pages,
banners, organizers or decor items.

Included in your kit will be a complete sets of
Blueprints for recreating projects made by
Miss Tracy.
Or you can create from your own imagination.

I made 5 projects from my kit and I still have
plenty to work with. Here's my first one:

A zippered pouch from the Chevron Canvas Fabric.
(Zipper was a leftover from my Sew Artsy Kit)
I was in need of something to stash my colored
pencils in, and the fabric was just the thing to make
this pouch with.
A little of the ribbon to give me a bigger zipper pull
was a perfect addition.
And the black buttons and yellow twine
for a little pop of fun.

Did you know that one can lose a sewing talent if
one does not practice said talent regularly?
Well, I learned that the hard way when making my pouch.
I think I removed the zipper twice before it clicked.
I should have read up on zippers head of time.
(Lesson Learned!!)
ALSO,
sewing machines need regular tune-up TLC.
I don't use mine as often as I once did. My poor little
machine was stating to Chug-Chug there at the end.
I'll have to give it a day at the Sewing Machine Spa soon.

I'll be back tomorrow with another project, but
for now I want you to go see what the others
are showing off today.  You'll be glad you did!

  1. the chevron fabric looks so pretty as a pencil case. I have to fine tune mine every time i get it out - which isn't often enough x
