Christmas Tag

If you didn't get to come to the Little Blue House for our
Christmas Open House here is the make and take we did.
It is a little tag embellishment that you can use to decorate
a small gift, scrapbook layout , card or gift bag.

Supplies I used:
Card stock
chipboard
Stickles
Shimmerz paint
Powder Puff Ink from Quick Quotes
Date stamp
Sizzix Primitive Star Die
Cuddlebug large dot folder
2-1/4" Punch
Mini tags
Thin Twine
Tree Branch pipe cleaner
glue gun

I first punched out 2-1/4" circles and ran them through the Cuddlebug
using the large dot embossing folder...

Next, edge the circles with Stickles
(Mine is Platinum)

Then snip approx. 1" lengths of tree branch pipe cleaners.
I found these at Hobby Lobby in the Tree Trim area.

The little tag was stamped with the date of Christmas.
I didn't want the year on the tag so I only inked the month and day.

Ink the edges around your tag,

and start to glue things down.

For the star I painted that with Shimmerz, Golden Wheat.
(Sorry about the bad picture)

Wrap some twine around the star twice,
string your tag and tie a bow.

Use a big dollop of glue to help the star stick to the little tree twig.

And your done.

Now embellish those gifts, pages or cards
and
Have a Happy Holiday!
