Inspired by...

Good Morning,

Last week I had a little down time.  I spent
some of it on Pinterest.  It's incredible to me
how much talent is out there in the world.  Although,
as the re-pinning gets diluted it can be hard to
tell where the ideas originated, but, none the less,
there are some beautiful things to recreate
or be INSPIRED by.

I saw this...
painted acorns for Thanksgiving decor // holiday tablescape DIY ---nice for Christmas container or table scape even for rustic charm yearround

and painted my own...
After the paint dried I coated them with some Glossy Accents
to seal them.  I'll find a home among the fall decor soon.
I think they turned out beautiful. I'll have to paint more.

Another way to get inspired is to follow or
join kit clubs.  Of course, my favorite is the
Front Porch Kits from the Little Blue House and the
girls that are on the DT with me are amazing.
I love the talent on our team.
(We should be hearing news of a new kit soon too.)

I follow Studio Calico and Citrus Twist Kits,
The collection of papers that they gathered for their kits are
fun to create with.

Currently, I receive kits from Cocoa Daisy.
Their paper selections are eclectic
and kits include a stamp set, which has me improving
my stamping skills.

This week I was able to open my stacking kits and
do some scrapping.   I pooled the embellies and
papers and worked on a few photos.
I created a couple of my own, but because there
are some great designers on their DT I thought
I would see if someone would inspire me.

Here is one I found.
You and Me
A layout using the most recent kit
elements by Denise Morrison.

Here is what I (re)created from her page.

My pictures were from a Fuji Mini-Stax Polaroid so the
sizing was different.  But the layering is what I
really liked and perfect for using my scraps.
I then added a side embellishment just because.

 Then I made this one.
My daughter...she's great!!

For the Little Blue House, I created some
scrapbook pages for our fall open house...
"Haunting Season" layout using
Carte Bella's Spooky line.
Halloween is just around the corner.

"Just A Call Away" Layout using
Pink Paislee's Switchboard, inspired
by sending the last child off to college.

Both Layouts available at the Little Blue House
while supplies lasts.

And one more thing about the Little Blue House,
this month we are celebrating our 4th Birthday.

WOW! 4 YEARS!!!
Everyday I go to work I feel blessed to
have a job I love, talented co-workers I enjoy
spending time with, and
customers who help make it all worth while.

Thank you Miss Tracy for having a vision and doing
something to make it happen.

Rhonda.
